Draft for review. This is a starting point prepared for OCSEIA. Please have it reviewed by legal counsel and complete the bracketed details before publishing.

OCSEIA is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.

Our target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA, the standard referenced by Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

What we have done

  • Semantic structure with clear headings and a “skip to main content” link.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators.
  • Attention to colour contrast, and meaning never conveyed by colour alone.
  • Labelled form fields with clear error messages.
  • Motion and animation that automatically turn off when a visitor has “reduce motion” enabled.

Known limitations

We are continuing to test and improve. [List any known limitations here, and note the plan to complete a full accessibility audit before launch.]
