The people who unite to protect children online.
The Ontario Child Sexual Exploitation Investigators Association is a non-profit whose purpose is to contribute to the elimination of online child exploitation — by bringing together investigators and legal, technical, and child-welfare advocates from across Ontario to share skills, knowledge, and expertise.
Uniting those who investigate, protecting those affected.
OCSEIA is the proud and primary private supporter of Ontario’s Provincial Strategy, established in 2006. The Strategy enables seamless joint investigations of offences that know no boundaries — helping agencies act as a single team to find and protect child victims.
Why a coordinated approach
Online exploitation crosses jurisdictions, platforms, and borders. A province-wide approach lets investigators share what works and move faster — together achieving what no single agency could alone.
Accountable, transparent leadership.
OCSEIA is directed by a volunteer Board of Directors of 10–15 members drawn from the membership. Its Executive — Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary — leads the association, with the remaining members serving as Directors at Large. Elections, meetings, finances, member conduct, and amendments are all governed by the OCSEIA charter, keeping the association accountable to its members.

No agency does this alone.
OCSEIA works alongside — and is supported by — police services, government, and institutions across Ontario and Canada. Above all, OCSEIA is the proud and primary private supporter of the Provincial Strategy.

We publish an annual report and a plain-language financial summary so members, partners, and the public can see what we do and how we’re funded.
Our first annual report is in preparation and will be published here. In the meantime, questions about OCSEIA’s activities or finances are welcome via the contact page.
